14/11/2009

Torsten Voight receiving his award

At a glittering function held at the Hotel InterContinental in Berlin, attended by over 380 dignitaries, celebrities and members of the media, the award of “Brandenberg Master Chef 2009” was presented to Torsten Voight, the chef at the Schloss Hubertushöhe. The event was the culinary highlight of the season, with award-winning chefs combining their talents to present a superb four course menu to those fortunate enough to attend this gala dinner.

Berlin is renowned as one of the gastronomic capitals of the world, so this award is further recognition of the exceptional hospitality and haute cuisine that can be experienced at the Louis family-owned Schloss Hubertushöhe, which also won the ‘Best Guest Rated Five-Star Hotel in Germany’ award in 2009. The award follows closely on two other accolades, namely the recognition of the hotel as the ‘Best Boutique Hotel in Germany 2008’ and its inclusion in Hideaways Hotels’ ‘100 Most Beautiful Hotels and Resorts in the World’.
